Performing Arts

In Year 7 & 8 all students participate in Performing Arts. This subject is a combination of classroom music theory and introductory drama skills.

Students who wish to learn an instrument that is part of a concert band ensemble may enrol in the College Instrumental Music program. Students enrolled in this program pay a per term fee to learn an instrument in small groups. See the Music handbook for current fees. They are withdrawn from class for one half-hour lesson per week. These lessons are rotated through the timetable so that students do not miss the same lessons each week.

The opportunity is also provided for students to become members of the College Stage Band, Concert Band or Choir.

Students (Year 7 to Year 12) have the opportunity to participate in the Annual College Production.
