Grade 6 Activity Days
Our Grade 6 Activity Days are an opportunity for Grade 6 students to experience a day in the life of a Secondary School Student. Families at Diocese of Sale Primary schools will have information about their designated Grade 6 Activity Day provided directly to them by their school. Our Grade 6 Activity Days take place in early Term 2 each year.

Grade 5 Discovery Days
Grade 5 students from Government Schools and St John’s Koo Wee Rup will be able to book for 2026 Grade 5 Discovery Days at our College by mid 2026, the Grade 5 Discovery Day will be in October 2026. Places are limited to 50, and any registrations received after this will be placed on a waitlist.
Parent tours will be available on the morning of the Grade 5 Discovery Day, for students of St John’s Koo Wee Rup and Government Schools.
Families at DOSCEL primary schools will receive information directly from their school.

Application Process
Welcome to Mary MacKillop Catholic Regional College enrolments!
The main point of entry is Year 7. Mary MacKillop Catholic Regional College is a co-educational secondary school, catering to students from Year 7 to Year 12. Applications are now being accepted for all Year levels including:
- Year 7 2027 – applications close on 31 May 2026*
- Year 7 2028 – applications close on 31 May 2027
PLEASE NOTE: Bus places are not guaranteed after the May 31st deadline. While we will do our very best to accommodate all students, priority will be given to families who have already enrolled.

The College draws its students from the five parishes of the region: Leongatha/Korumburra, Wonthaggi/Inverloch, Foster, Koo Wee Rup and Cowes.
School Bus Schedule:
All Buses Arrive at the College by 8:45 am.
All Buses Depart the College from 3:25 pm.
- Mirboo North: Departs at 8:25 am, Returns by 3:45 pm
- Inverloch: Departs at 8:03 am, Returns by 4:08 pm.
- Phillip Island: (via Wonthaggi): Departs at 7:30 am, Returns by 4:38 pm.
- Lang Lang: (via Korumburra): Departs at 7:45 am, Returns by 4:26 pm
- KooWeeRup: Departs at 7:45 am, Returns by 4:25 pm.
- Cape Paterson: (via Wonthaggi and Korumburra): Departs at 7:42 am, Returns by 4:27 pm
Completion of an Application for Enrolment Form is essential, forms can be found below. Forms for Year 7 students should be handed in by 31 May in the year preceding entry.
At the time you submit your online Enrolment Application a $150.00 deposit is required. This is a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit. If your child is accepted into Mary MacKillop Catholic Regional College the amount is credited to the following year’s fee account.
In July, following an enrolment interview, you will be contacted in writing to accept an enrolment offer. Parents/Guardians will be required to sign an acceptance of enrolment form affirming your commitment to the aims and policies of Mary MacKillop College and return it by the due date.
